Claro Walnut Table with Hand Forged Steel Base

We were so thrilled with this table - it turned out gorgeous.

Chris went with the client to select a beautiful piece of Claro Walnut and he knew they wanted something special when they picked this slab.  He hand forged a simple steel base to compliment the complexity of the wood.  The legs were left raw, showing some of the marks from forging which contrast with the smooth, piano finish of the top.  We especially like the special metal joinery detail on the edge.
