Margaret officially joined Shutze Studio in 2018 but has been advising behind the scenes since its inception in 2011. She most recently served as the Vice President at architectural interior design firm, WILSON-RED for 3 years and Wilson Associates, for almost a decade. Margaret’s work with the team at these international, award-winning design firms continuously set design standards across many continents.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida, Margaret worked as a Designer for RTKL Associates in Miami, a global architecture, planning, and design firm. While at RTKL, her team was presented with the prestigious Gold Key Award for Excellence in Hospitality Design for their work at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort.
Margaret’s passion, design eye, and business skills have secured her place as a key player in the world of interior architectural design, and was recently awarded Boutique Design's Power Player / Women Leaders in Hospitality and currently serves as Principal on hospitality projects in Barbados, Mexico, Colorado and California.
For almost 20 years, Chris Shutze has been creating homes and specialty custom pieces for discerning clients with sophisticated taste.
Specializing in contemporary construction, Chris Shutze began his career with Doug Travis in 2000. Learning from an icon in the luxury residential market, Chris quickly learned that attention to detail and anticipating clients needs, equals the key to success.
Chris has always had a passion for beautifully crafted custom pieces and the details that make them unique. He specializes in wood working and metal fabrication.
Chris is proud to have worked with many award winning architects and designers, including McCalpan Tankersley Architects, Gary Cunningham Architects, Paul Field Architects, Shalls Design Studio and Wilson Associates, amongst others.
